Joseph Petska, 58, of 3803 Highway 147 West, Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, August 7, 1987, at Two Rivers Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot at 10:30 at St. Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. The Rev Msgr. James Feely will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Petska was born October 8, 1928 in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Robert and Tillie Novy Petska. He married Judy Chaloupka, November 15, 1949 at St. Joseph Catholic church, Kellnersville. Mr. Petska was employed at Hamilton Industries. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic church, Holy Name Society, Hamilton management Association and Larrabee Sportsmens Club.
Survivors include his wife, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark and Mary Petska of 4908 Highway 147, Maribel, Thomas and Patti Petska of 8933 Tannery Rd., Two Rivers and Terrance at home; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Vern Thomas of Davenport, Iowa; a brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Clara Petska of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Ray Naidl of Manitowoc; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Betty Petska of Manitowoc and four grandchildren, Jon and Amy Thomas, Stacie and Cassandra Petska. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, 4 pm to 9 pm Monday, where a memorial service will be 7:30 pm.
