Mildred M. ?Millie? Vertz, of Neenah, age 79, passed away peacefully ear ly Tuesday morning, April 5, 2005 at Vallhaven Care Center in Neenah, surr ounded by family. She was born on November 27, 1925 in Manitowoc. Millie h as been married to Jacob C. Vertz for 46 years.
Millie is survived by her children: Mary A. (David) Schmitzer, Neenah; Val erie M. (Bruce) Ceranske, Waupaca; four grandchildren: Patti (Brian) Vog t, Andrew Ceranske, Breanne Ceranske, Alexandria Ceranske; and a great-gra ndchild, McKayla Vogt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Olive Honzik; and Jac ob?s parents, Joseph and Clara Vertz.
Millie was a resident of Neenah for most of her life and a member of St. G abriel?s Parish in Neenah. She was a homemaker and an active member of t he deaf community. Millie loved to play cards with her friends and spend t ime with her family.
The funeral service for Millie will be held Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 11: 30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 900 Geiger Street, Neenah with Fath er Richard Allen officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thu rsday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Millie?s family would like to extend a special thank you to Larry and Delo res Dorn for their special friendship to the family and thank you to the n urses at Vallhaven Care Center.
Millie?s kindness will be remembered by all.
